Spiritual Practices

Prayer and Meditation

Prayer Network

We have a vibrant e-mail prayer platform in which people can share their prayer concerns. Those who receive the requests and updates are asked to offer personal prayers for those named. Contact Jill Wolcott at jkw3@charter.net

Mindfulness Meditation

Mondays 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. We gather on Zoom. Our practice format includes guided meditation, silent sitting and walking meditation plus readings from Buddhist teachers and a brief sharing. Practice leaders are ordained by Thich Nhat Hanh. Contact Rob Hight at 541-857-6542.

Mind, Body, Spirit Meditation

Fridays 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. We gather on Zoom to connect and reflect, to practice meditation in community. We are inspired by wisdom traditions, sacred texts, poetry, nature, science, each other, with 25 minutes of silent meditation. Contact Jenny Stout at 541-261-3916.

Healing Prayer

This healing prayer practice invites everyone into wholeness: integration of body, mind, spirit. It is an invitation to look beyond the immediate into the bigger picture from God’s view. The word “healing” as used here is meant not as a magical guarantee of a specific outcome but as a comfort to the people who are the subjects of the prayer requests. The purpose is to help each individual be open to God’s grace and feel support and strength in dealing with their issues.

To make a prayer request for yourself or someone else you may contact the front office at ‭(541) 772-8860‬.
