WHAT IS THE WORSHIP SERVICE LIKE?
Our Sunday morning worship is a blend of the traditional and the progressive: old familiar hymns and new music; traditional scriptures and prayers and more contemporary readings and reflections. 
 
CAN I JUST “SHOW UP”?
Everyone is truly welcome to all of our programs and activities (even those that ask for people to sign up in advance). If something interests you, just come!
 
WHAT ABOUT KIDS?
Children are always welcome (especially crying ones)! Children are present throughout the worship service. We have age appropriate 'busy boxes'. We do provide child care for children ages 0-3. Please call the church office to make arrangements.
 
WHAT ABOUT COMMUNION?
On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate Communion (also called the Eucharist or the Lord’s Supper). We believe this is God’s celebration, and God welcomes ALL people (including children)! Everyone who wishes may participate. Our bread is always gluten-free and we use unfermented grape juice.
 
HOW DO I GET TO KNOW PEOPLE?
Most of the people in our church wear name tags, and we offer them to visitors. People will come up to you! When we resume our in-person fellowship time, you will be welcome to join us after the service for refreshments in our social hall. You can sign up for our weekly emails for the latest updates.
 
ARE THE BUILDINGS ACCESSIBLE?
Yes
 
WHAT IF I’M LATE?
You won’t be alone! Come in anyway! You can usually find seating near the back of the worship space.
 
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Come as you are – we’re glad you want to join us! You’ll find that people wear a range of clothing, from suits and ties to cropped pants and sandals, t-shirts and jeans.
 
DO I HAVE TO GIVE MONEY?
There is a time during the service when we encourage offering - money, time, talents and prayers.  There are no obligations at all to give. While many people choose to give to the church monetarily, many also give in other ways (e.g., their time and talents).
