Mission & Vision

Doing Justice; Living Kindness; Walking Humbly with God.

WE ARE a missional community that:

  • Works for justice and peace

  • Explores our personal faith and spiritual formation

  • Serves those in need

  • Offers opportunities for meaningful worship that binds the community together

WE ARE called to serve:

  • People who are retiring in our area who have been part of church communities before

  • People who are seeking a welcoming and accepting community that will nurture their faith

  • People who have been hurt or rejected by faith communities and want a new spiritual home

Our wider church mission is extended through our supportive and covenanted affiliation with the Central Pacific Conference of the United Church of Christ, as well as the national setting of the United Church of Christ.

Our church is located on the ancestral lands of the Takelma, Shasta, and Athabaskan peoples who lived along these waters before being displaced by settlers. Though they were relocated and integrated into other tribes, we honor them and acknowledge that through all this, they endured. We are grateful for their witness, their resilience, and the ways the elders call us to connect with creation. We commit ourselves to the ongoing practices of listening, repentance, and solidarity.
